  1. I dont know how I am going to feel about this episode. Beckett re-evaluating her relationship. I know it will turn out ok, but i just dont like the sound of that.

  3. I'm not feeling the least bit scared or anxious about this episode. I'm rather excited, actually. We've known this was coming since mid-season. It's intriguing to see that their relationship has reached a stage where they're realising that they want to go further, and that not reflecting on their relationship and not confronting their doubts and issues is only going to be detrimental. Beckett herself has said that things have never been easy between the two of them, and if anything, I think episodes like this are an indication that this season will be ending on a truly exciting note.

  4. Maybe she's not worried about the relationship itself but about the fact that it has "begun to plateau" (that's what it says up there), so perhaps she's considering to take one step forward (moving in? IDK).

  5. I think it would be another "Alex Conrad-like" ep. We know Kate would not cheat on Castle, so she won't kiss, or sleep with the millionaire. But AM may put Kate and that millionaire in some "interesting position", which Castle may think as cheating.(But seriously, as I read from the comments elsewhere, "since when are homicide detectives assigned to protection detail? Yeah, b/c their not!") Castle, fill with jealous, would do something stupid and crazy. And they would have the talk about their relationship in the end of the ep. The ep would be fun, but may end badly, just like "The Limey", we would only have known more from the synopsis of 5x23. (Of course I hope the ep won't end badly)

And it is interesting with the whole "plateau" thing. I think this time Kate was the one feeling their relationship begun to plateau, while Castle would think they're doing ok,(Of course, I think a bunch of fanfic writers would use this as a chance to write some Caskett breakup-reunion fic) and Kate may use this as a chance to push Castle to open up. But I think it is a bit early for the plateau thing. Personally I was expecting the whole plateau thing for the two-parter eps next season. It seems a bit rush for the plateau thing. Besides, they were happy in the previous eps, thus I think something happen in "Still" or "The Fast and the Furriest" that raise Beckett's insecurity up again. Of course it would be a set up for the finale.

Additionally, this ep give a huge strike to the fandom, worried that Caskett is Ausiello's blind item, that they would break up in the finale. Personally I don't think Caskett would break up in the season finale. One of the factors of Ausiello's blind item is "the break-up would give the series a lot of creative juice as it heads into what could be its final season." Castle's rating is still very good, going strong, and I don't think ABC have any reason to kill Castle, or let the show having its final season. Castle is one of of the best show on ABC right now, and I believe it would keep going for the 7th, or even the 8th season.

Personally I think the blind item would be the Nikita couple, or one of the grey's couples, and I believe Caskett may have their temp breakup before the marriage proposal.

    1. addition to my comment, plateau may not be
as bad as it sounds, as one of the comments from spoilertv

"I see a plateau as them just being really comfortable and maybe some of the thrill is gone cause its not new anymore and to me their relationship spans all the years. Saying that I see all of this as a great kick start to more from their relationship next season, an excuse to finally see them talk about their future together."

Although I love the show, and enjoy the banter, I don't think we need much of jealous plot like this again. And I hope we won't have much coverage about Kate's insecurity in the next season, as I expect them to gone through this patch in the last eps this season, move on and talk about their future next season.

  7. I don't think they'll ever break up at this point - and it's not the "fangirl me" speaking, but the "writer wanna be, characters-story analyzing me".
If they broke up, that would be the end - as Esposite have said, Castle has made enough researc for fifty books. If it's not for her relationship with Beckett, he wouldn't be at the precinct. After a break up it would even be painful for him - after a break up he would avoid Beckett at all costs, I think. And if we don't have Castle working on cases, we don't have the show itself. Finito. So, IMHO it would be a very bad step from the creators to break them up. (also, it doesn't look like a show that doesn't end with a happy end)
...And AM & co. are into the blogs and such. They know what the hard core of the fandom wants. They might keep us on our toes, but in the end, they want us happy. Broken up Caskett won't make us happy.

  8. Plateau, depending up the usage, could mean a couple of different things. One, it could be that the relationship has stabilized with each character recognizing their role in the relationship. Two, is the meaning the relationship has pretty much become flat. And third, probably what I think they're aiming for which is "achievement." In other words if ILY shows up in the preceding episode "Still" the relationship will have plateaued as a result of the ILY.

    Make sense?

  9. ILY is almost necessary for going to the next level bevor the relationship becomes flat.
