ReplyDeleteSo, the actor was born in 58, and he's what, 54? not old enough to play Castle's father. The dragon? Johanna Beckett died in 1999 when this dude would have been 40ish. The kidnap for ransom business would have taken place years before in his 30s. Age-wise it would basically make him a contemporary of Roy and indidentally, Johanna Beckett. I kinda always imagined someone a little older, but I suppose he's a possibility. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteIs it September yet?
How will he be in conflict with Kate if she isn't a detective anymore?? I mean he doesn't know she gave up the case but he has to know she isn't working with the NYPD right? I could see a scene with him and Maddox where Maddox comes and tells him smith didn't have the files and the senator says keep looking. And maybe smith sent Rick the files and Kate and him turn the info to the NYPD and this complicates things for him since he can't get the files back and he can't just send people to kill everybody in the NYPD because that woukd raise suspicion so maybe he strikes a deal. He won't kill Kate as long as the files are kept hidden. Because maybe while they don't have enough evidence, they have enough to do some damage and he can't afford that. This is just a theory. What do you guys think?
ReplyDeleteMr.Smith is not naive he know very well that he can’t keep Kate save forever (that’s realistic!) he has got plans in mind how to destroy these people behind JB death but he’s doing it step by step and in very slowly moves i think hes waiting for them to make a wrong move in right time. And as you seen in finale a deal don't stop them to try kill kate there's no way qut anymore.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more! AW said JB will be solved on premiere!
Delete@Brit, but that problem is these people don't care they will find a way to kill Backett a deal was never for them a option they want one thing Kate Becketts death and anybody else who's involved.
True hong. I'm just wondering will they have enough evidence to take these guys down, without it being covered up?? These guys are pretty powerful. But I guess mr.smith's files ate more powerful.
DeleteI think the case JB is not at all solved completely.
ReplyDeleteBut Beckett will know who is behind, and he is very powerful for her to drop. And she will not have sufficient evidence of his involvement.
Smith should not have kept the file with him, may have sent to someone else.
At the end of the season voltaremo to hear about the Dragon.
I agree that the case will not be solved completely. Even Nathan hinted at that and Marlowe's tv guide interview was conflicting with saying it would be solved and giving Beckett some closure. I reallly don't want it to completely leave, but at the same time it does feel like it's tije for Beckett to move on after an entire season of her trying to heal from it and coming close to losing everything in the end. It was Rick's love that saved her. I love this show!
DeleteI want her to move on, I've had enough of the entire thing. I would like to see Kate finally put this obsession that has been dominating her life behind her and find happiness with Rick. I also don't like how she behaves when she's in the grip of this thing, she just goes awol and starts acting not like a cop but more like a vigilante. So I would happily like the story to drop off the radar if they don't actually solve it.
DeleteGood casting. Sae Jack Coleman recently on The Vampire Diairies.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice the intro into this spoiler stated "navigating the fallout from her tryst with Ricky C" will be the least of Beckett's problems. This intrigued me so much. I can't wait to find out if they're ferring to their argument that led to the trsyt or if something bad happens because they slept together. I still want Rick or Alexis or Martha to be placed in the crosshairs of this case and for kickass Beckett to be unleashed.
I can't wait to see the Senator's role in this.
Had to look up the word tryst in the dictionary lol. There are two meanings to this word that are intriguing. The first being that it is another word for "trust". The second being it also means to appoint a meeting with, or to meet by appointment. I wonder if Michael Auseillo has cryptically used the word "tryst" in reference to Caskett "meeting" at Rick's place and hooking up. The reference to the fallout could mean how she and he deal with the fact that they've gone beyond the point of no return after "Always", leading to them "trusting" each other to keep their relationship under wraps maybe?
DeleteThe most commonly used definition for "tryst" is a secret meeting of a rendezvous for lovers, where a sexual act usually occurs. I didn't have to look it up, but I have never seen it used for "trust." It's usually involves a secret rendezvous or appoimtment or meeting, done in secret.
DeleteInteresting indeed!
It'll be hard for me not to see him as Bill Forbes rising from the dead, lol! He's a great actor though so I'm excited to see him again :)
ReplyDeleteMore Heroes casting! YES!
ReplyDeleteOh, God! My heart! I didn't know who Jack Coleman was or how old he was. When I read the title "Jack Coleman Cast as New [SPOILER] For Beckett" I thought that "SPOILER" would turn out to be "Boyfriend."
ReplyDeleteI had a miniature heart attack.
Wow ... Jack Coleman coming to Castle! He was SOOO awesome as Noah Bennett on "Heroes"
