Ausiello: It airs April 30, one week before the season
finale — and that was by design. “As part of this final Beckett/Castle
run-up to a very emotional finale — where we confront a lot of the
issues that the characters have been skirting all season — we felt like
it was important to bring some fun into the show,” series creator Andrew
W. Marlowe told TVLine’s Matt Mitovich. “Zombies are very much in the
zeitgeist, and we thought it was something that was worth tackling.” The
boss man hints that he found a “credible” way to incorporate Walkers
into the procedural à la how “last season Castle was convinced that
aliens were behind a murder.”
Question: I’ve thought long and hard about this. Would the mystery person you said is returning to Castle during May sweeps be Kate’s father? We haven’t seen him since the premiere. —Bexx
Ausiello: Nope. The character I was referring to in last week’s Ask Ausiello is female. And she has ties to a former series regular.
Ok, now I'll bet it's Meredith. Either her or Gina, but Meredith makes more sense.

DeleteOh my God, I didn't think about that, but you could be right. Ties to a "FORMER" series regular. It can't be Meredith or Gina or any of Beckett's ex boyfriends because Castle and Beckett are still regulars.
DeleteRoy'a wife (or either one of his daughters) makes sense, especially if the episode is about JB/ the Dragon.
i wonder when castles secret will come out then? I thought it would be this episode but maybe it is headhunters...i wish one of these people like aussielo or the people who get to ask questions would ask for a hint concerning castles secret..

ReplyDeleteOk lets sat its Montgomery's wife m what role would she play ? i mean even if showed up she will only make the show worse by crying and begging Beckett/Castle to try and find Montgomery murderer.
ReplyDeleteShe could tell them what was Montgometry up to before he died (suspicious behaviors?) or how he was back in the days when Beckett's mom was still alive...And she didn't come forward with these info because she wanted to protect his name and honor by hiding his ugly past?
DeleteMaybe that's what leaves Kate emotionally raw. His wife crying to find the killer. What if she found mr.smith's number and wants Kate and Rick to track it, because she thinks it will help find roy's killer. And Rick has to fess up before they bring mr.smith in for questioning. That would be a twist. And it would also bring up montgomery's involvement and that secret resurfacing, if they work on kate/joahnna/montgomery's case.

This female has to be linked to Montgomery because Ausiello said "former regular" and it cant be current regulars. So this crosses out links to Castle, Beckett, Lanie, Espo, Ryan, Martha, Alexis, and even Gates. Which means, Castle's ex-wives, Beckett's parents, etc....

Could be I mean She could be back because of the information that Smith has that is keeping Beckett anf his family safe. I don't know.
ReplyDeletei bet castles secret wont come out till the very end of undead again. And i doubt that kate will even know that castle knows her secret until the finale...which frustrates me because marlow said that both secrets would be out before the finale. I totally understand that this season was built around the secrets but waiting this long until the very last minute and crammin all that in the very end is a real bummer.

ReplyDeletefrom the info gathered its a SHE, we have seen her before and now we know she has ties to a FORMER series regular and there is no one else who could fit that description.
I have a feeling that Castle secret wont come out till the finale coz Marlowe keeps saying that EVERYTHING is going to be put on the table in the finale because of the circumstances. So i dont think that they will have resolved the issue between Caskett atm with Becketts secret. i honestly just happy to go with the flow here but seeing them so distant from each other is killing me, it actually makes me feel kinda sick. I watched a season 2 episode , 3 episode and a season 4 episode last night and it sort makes me want to yell at the screen and say #TellHimYouLoveHim already coz otherwise u guys are going to be pulling apart...but it never happens... :'(
hahaha Them being not ok with each other puts me in a sad mood :( I CANT WAIT TIL ALWAYS!

ReplyDeleteThere have been a couple of photo's that imply that they are back together to work on the zombie case so yes, they must have made up to some extent by then.

I'd guess Montgomery's Wife first. Otherwise it would have to be Alexis's mom or so I assume with her graduating and everything. Hmmm should be a fun finale with all that's happening actually. I just want some damn closure on the relationship already it's getting annoying at this point and this season has been a drag up and down with the episodes the ones they hype suck and the ones they don't are good except for that one Vegas ep that just sucked a lot and had little hype. I wanna see them in bed together so someone make this happen haha.
ReplyDeleteOkay I have a theory, been trying to think about how they could get the Zombies into a procedural show and Castle. Tieing together Castle in a hospital bed and putting himself in danger in Headhunters what if Castle does get injured fairly seriously in Headhunters and the next episode is partly in "his head" hence why he and Beckett are back working together - we know that's what he really deep down wants. The only thing is they did do similar in the season 4 finale of Bones but I imagine them to be very different episodes!! Castle being so seriously injured gives Kate the final push especially as by this pint with Castle not even really her partner anymore she feels she has nothing more to lose so that when Castle wakes up she asks him what is going on, questions their relationship and tells him how she feels and ther she wants to move on from her mothers murder and dive right in with him (Burkes sessions will also help her decide this) they may leave the episode there (the meanies) or we may get th actually getting together - who knows but then in the next episode the finally Monty's wife comes to Kate with some information on her husbands murder/ Kates mums case and C&B realise that this is always going to haunt them and they need to go after the Dragon but they will do it together leading Castle to share his murder board with Kate not sure how she will react but we won't get any conclusions in Always as it sounds like it will end on a cliff hanger but I think from the cast etc saying shippers will be happy I think that C&B will be a together as a couple still at the end of the episode even if they do fight over the secrets through the episode as both will be brought up. What do you think? I'm probably wrong but it could work? Need something to speculate on after the depressing end to The Limey but as Florence would say "it's always darkest before the Dawn" and I'm

DeleteA casting notice calling for the zombie episode calls for guest stars to portray characters who participate regularly in "zombie walks." A few of these wannabe walkers become prime suspects in the murder of a man named David Lock.

ReplyDeleteMontgomery's wife makes sense, if the episode is going to be dealing with issues surrounding Beckett's mother's death, it's reasonable that she could discover something in Montgomery's personal effects related to that.
ReplyDeleteI agree Montgomery's widow seems the most likely, and I also think she would fit so well with the direction the end of season seems to be taking us.
ReplyDeleteCould be she discovered some of Roy's old papers related to those he sent the Mystery Man Chess Master dude. Could be she has simply puzzled together that there were many secrets that Roy was keeping, professionally and therefore also personally, and that, frankly, plays into things really well, if that's where they're going.
She'd also be the perfect figure to get Castle and Beckett to deal with the hurt of their respective secrets while also prioritizing their feelings for each other and giving a relationship a shot before it's too late.
Roy had secrets and he died for them. Secrets they're now both so deeply woven into. And yet they're in danger of drifting apart. What will secrets cost them. Who better to have prompt certain revelations than the widow of someone who gave up everything to help give them a shot at solving not only the murder but having a life? The ultimate thing for Caskett to be faced with in a finale.
If it is montys wife she will be bringing some evidence she found which will be connected to Kates mothers murder.
ReplyDeleteLove anonymous 10:01 point about Montgomery And his secrets and dieing for Beckett especially so that she could have a life and how his wife could bring these realisations to the forefront for C&B love this idea and it could lead to amazing and very emotional scenes like AM has suggested. Thinking of the emotion in the last episode she was in Knockout one of my personal faves I still can't get over how amazing Stana Especially was in that episode! But everyone was brilliant too. Kaz
