4x22 - Undead Again - Episode Stills

"Undead Again" -- When Castle and Beckett investigate the murder of a man with human bite marks on his body, Castle's wild theories start flying. But none are as wild as what their only witness insists happened - a Zombie attack. As the evidence pointing towards an undead assailant piles up, the team plunges into New York's Zombie subculture to find the killer and bring him in -- dead, undead or alive -- on "Castle," MONDAY, APRIL 30.

    I bet this is the opening scene and it comes on with Thriller playing when they show the bridge and the blood-soaked pen!

    And Caskett working together again... That has to be good, right?

    2. It's my idea or these two are so close to each other, in the Limey, They solve the case, with Rick angry with Kate, maybe something happens in the end of Headhunters? :O spoilers and theories too my friends!
      Because we have a long time (3 weeks) untill we can see this episode.

  7. This is going to be funny. Looks like Castle's working with Beckett again, so there should be some form of development at the end of 4x21? I doubt Beckett will confess she loves him, at least not until the finale, but I think Castle's going to come to his senses at the end of 4x21, realizing his behaviour is irrational, that it could get him seriously hurt, that he's withholding a secret too, and that Kate probably had his best interest by lying to him, and that ultimately she expects him to be a friend and not distance himself from her. I think Martha or Esposito and Ryan will be the ones to lecture him about this and get him to befriend Beckett again. I hope we get sneak peeks to 4x21 tomorrow or Wednesday. Is there a ctv promo for 4x21 out yet?

  8. I think thus episode is going to take a serious turn and we get a hint into the JB case.

    My guess is they come to some understanding about their partnership, but if Castle isn't mad at her in this episode, then she may tell him how she feels. Nah. I know they are saving that for the finale...

  12. Perhaps Beckett's meeting with Dr.Burke will push her to say something to Castle, and that coupled with his experience with Detective Slaughter pushes them to at least realize that they work best when they are together??

    On the other hand, no sign of male or female blond bimbettes either.

    So I'm inclined towards hope. Beckett appears to be undead again.

    2. Definitely! Scully and Beckett can look good amd kick ass and run very well. I still crack up at how hot these two look going after bad guys, especially Beckett. She looks like a Special Edition Barbie that only comes out once a decade. HaHa! Stana is seriously THAT hot!

  21. Like the outfit Stana is wearing just being shallow for a minute. That jacket is awesome.

    How come they're back together again as if nothing has happened?

    I really don't believe that Kate has confessed anything at this point to Rick so shouldn't he still be (a) annoyed and (b) not wanting to work with her?

    I know I would still be pretty fed up if I were Rick and she hadn't got herself clued up by now as to why I was angry.

    I must admit I don't get this story arc since 47 seconds, for all the angst actually nothing has happened - Rick knows about Kate's secret but they haven't discussed a thing yet and it looks like they won't be until the finale if you believe Marlowe.

    So really what's the point of this story arc of releasing one secret and not talking about if for another 4 episodes? It just doesn't make sense to me sorry, I just feel it's really poor pacing.

    I would much rather have had Rick and Kate talk and make up a bit and then his secret comes out a little later but it looks like they will have this episode where they go back to pretending everything is okay (which it's not) just because they need to hold eveything over for the finale.

    Zombies look good though so I'll definitely be watching even though I don't understand the behaviour of the characters anymore really which is sad.

      Because then if they put it in the last 2 or 3 episodes people like u would be cranky coz they didnt leave enough time to work though it!

    2. Sorry I don't understand your response, this is what I am saying. That it's better to pace these things better over more episodes than just have everything happen in the finale. So far nothing has happened since Rick found out Kate's secret in 47 seconds, they haven't dealt with anything, they haven't developed anything, they've just had Kate upset and Rick miserable. That's it! They could have done a lot more with this story, they could have talked about it, they could have argued about it, they could have done something but instead there has just been angst and depression whilst no one talks about anything - again.

      Just seems like a bit of waste of a good opportunity to me, clearly others feel differently which is fine but I just like these kind of dramatic moments paced better.

  28. Really looking forward to some fun in this one. When Castle takes an absurd premise and finds a way to make it simultaneously mask and frame a murder and provide a scenario to reflect Caskett's state of being, it's always enjoyable.

    I'm guessing somebody gets killed during a Zombie Walk or something, or that the flash mob thing is kind of a combo of their Spycation & Steam Punk eps for subculture and absurd meets real world premise. When it further hints at a dark side, (the press release did mention human bite marks), even within the absurdity, it keeps it from being pure fluff.

    If they can pull this off, and have something more of the various secrets being dealt with too, it will be well worth having sat thru the turmoil of the Limey.

    I'm getting excited about Castle again, anticipating what could be coming to set up a season of fun for S5, instead of knowing they're just gonna toy with the dread in my stomach as the relationship finds its way forward.

    And yes, both are looking mighty fine. (But dang those heels, woman. More power to ya. I dunno how ya do it, lol).

    1. George Romero made "Night of the livind dead" in 1968 which has been the one movie that inspired a lot of artists.
      MJ and his "Thriller" would never have existed in that way without that movie. Maybe, the "Undead" ep. is some kind of funny version of it.
