The link below is to an interview done within the last 2 weeks when they were filming "Headhunters." Nathan looks great. Yet in the actual sneak peak above, his face looks much heavier. I don't understand why he looks fine when he does interviews, but looks so heavy on the show. Bad lighting? Bad camera work?

I would've said he looks here like it was in season 2 if they weren't talking about BB.. weird Don't get me wrong, I like Nathan in all seasons, but this thing seems unexplainable. He doesn't look much bigger than David Burtka here actually, and David is super thin almost like Stana, then why Nathan looks a lot bigger than Stana in the show?.. I don't understand
The quality isn't great but he still looks better here than on the set. Throughout season 4, Rick has looked like he hasn't slept in weeks. Why can't they fix the lighting on Castle?!
On another note, I just watched all those vids and realised that we don't have Nathan smiling on Castle anymore. I mean, he has a really nice charming smile and infestious laugh, but this season, and even large part of season 3, we don't see it much or at all. I know that Castle grew up and is stressed and all that, but it would be nice to see a genuine smile sometimes, just for fun. It adds a lot to Nathan's charm I think;)
Seriously guise, you bashing the make up and lighting? This is done on purpose. He's supposed to look tired, because Rick is currently going through a hard time. He hurt, broken and depressed. People don't look shiny when they're sad. -_-
The question is, do we reaaly need a season of sad Castle? Ecpecially if the cause of said sadness was barely eluded to a couple of times in more than 20 episodes? Oh, wait, it's all in the subtext..
i agree about the smiles, that famous castle grin is gone, they definitely toned down the chemistry this year compare to last year to focus more on cases, at least in the first part of the season. that was one the main pb for me, they wanted to address the relationship part at the end i guess. I don't think nathan's problem is lightning, he has his up and down weight wise, sometimes his face looks bloated, sometimes not.
Beckett sees Castle come in the precinct with Det. Slaughter, along with suspects to interrogate. Castle has a bloody nose, and Beckett looks really worried about him.
Beckett expresses concern, but Castle claims he can "take care of himself" and seems excited about getting to watch Slaughter beat up bad guys. He says he will use the experience to "shake up" his next Nikki Heat novel.
While Beckett talks to Castle, Slaughter awkwardly stares at her butt for a moment..(which makes me think he will either hit on Beckett or say something bad about her later in the episode.)
Castle says he invited Slaughter to use Beckett's interrogation room, so Beckett is a little annoyed but she seems worried about Castle's safety above all else, and says he may not "live long enough" to write about Slaughter.
In the canadian promo, maybe the reason Castle hits [or I suspect it's him] Slaughter is because he makes a cruel joke about Becketts ass. I'd love to see him defend her honor.

Though he is being douchetastic lately I can give some redemption to Mr. Castle is he pops the guy one for something like that.

the sneak peak is the scene where castle walks into the precinct with slaughter and the 2 guys they arrested. Ryan is talking to Beckett asking if castle really is working with someone else and she is slamming a stapler saying "i don't care as long as..." then the door opens and shes sees castle and he has a tissue up his nose. when they talk he is all excited about taking down a guy and she is worried that he will get hurt and tells him he is NOT a cop but a writer while castle tries to be macho and pretend he is able to protect himself.
The way the camera lingered on Beckett's ass makes me think that Slaughter will either make crude comments about her to Castle, or he'll try to come on to her. This will force Castle to defend Kate emotionally/physically and prove that he still loves her. Personally, I hope Castle really does punch Slaughter in the face. He deserves it just from what I've seen in the promos and the sneak peek so far.
Let's hope they punch each other, they both deserve it, they're both being asses. But I wouldn't go refuting the "use Stana's ass as a rating boost" theory. It's a good one.
I don't think there will be a physical altercation between castle and slaughter.. I think castle will be get roughed up by some thugs they are going after... If anything Beckett is the man in that relationship. I guess Beckett will rescue Castle, maybe Slaughter will hit on her... maybe she will go out with him just to piss castle off..
Best I can figure is Castle will dissolve his relationship with slaughter when the man says something about or to Beckett. I can easily see Castle defend her honor and she'll see it and clue in to that he still loves her.
Slaughter is likely to speak in a highly chauvinistic way about Beckett from calling her a hot piece of ass to more overt I'd hit that type comments.

I was thinking the same thing! Honestly, I think Nathan and Adam both look bigger than they really are because of the lighting or camera angles or something.
Well they did an obvious set up shot of Slaughter taking a good long hard look at Kate's ass (and it is a great ass) and I have a feeling that brief shot of Rick punching Slaughter in the promo is because he says something bad about Kate and he defends her honour (he'd better!).
I also think that the bloody nose is just the start for Rick, that he initially really enjoys hanging around being all macho with Slaughter and Kate tells him that he's not a cop and he's like brushing her off and he has another fight later where he gets beaten up a little more and that's where Nathan's "face rearranged" comment comes in maybe?
Because sorry I can't see a bloody nose being that big a deal if that's it.
And is it just me or is Kate despite saying to Ryan that she just wants Rick to stay out of her way, showing actual genuine concern? I sure do hope so because if the show is going to convince me they're in love I need to see a bit more of this kind of thing from her as you would do if it was your boyfriend and they were possibly getting hurt or in danger. I'd be worried sick but trying to stay calm at the same time.

I'm sure it's Slaughter Rick punches if you stop the film and look but it's hard because it's so quick. And it's not an accidental punch because Rick is standing right infront of the guy so it's not as if he was aiming at someone else.
At this point, I think Beckett is too worried about Castle to really "snap" at him. She is afraid of losing his love, and is also worried about Castle doing something careless and getting injured. Beckett seemed rather vulnerable around Castle in this clip, & I think that she will become even more vulnerable as this episode goes on, culminating in her chat with Dr. Burke. When Beckett talks to Dr. Burke, my guess is she will finally realize the root cause of Castle's odd behavior.
I am confident that Beckett won't admit she loves Castle in this episode, since I think they are saving that for the finale, but I think that she will show Castle she cares in another way, by coming to his rescue when he gets into deep trouble. :)

Oh I definitely think Slaughter will say something really crude about Beckett, given his prolonged look at her ass i have no doubts. Expect that punch seems to me like its during a gangster brawl. Possible slaghter might have said Castle is a whimp who only stick around 12th only to get in her pants... Or said something worse. Either way it is about time Beckett is getting really pissed, and I think she will figure it out at the end of this episode, thanks to the good doc, what is causing this self destructive 6yr old to behave like a terrible 2!
I did read somewhere that the hospital bed scene is in undead again. Might end headhunters w/ castle hurt and hospital in the next.... Mirroring Kate.
Or maybe it is for the 4x21 episode but they had to postpone filming that scene because the set was being used by the Private Practice team. This season has lacked with respect to giving us the Caskett scenes fans would want (for example, a Caskett dance at Ryan's wedding, Castle doing CPR on Beckett in Linchpin, etc.), so I doubt we'd get a satisfying Caskett scene is this episode, but if I were to write it, it would be something like this: Castle gets physically injured, Kate comes in to save him and Castle ends up in a hospital bed where Kate gives him a lecture about his idiotic behaviour, yet shows her caring side by staying near his bedside while he sleeps (possible hand holding?) This should give Castle a bit of hint that she may have feelings for him.
I could definitely see something to that effect happening, since Castle & Beckett's battered relationship will need some kind of band-aid to get them to work together in "Undead Again".
I am a little doubtful that they will hospitalize Castle with anything more than a few scrapes (and perhaps wounded pride) since it would be a repeat of Beckett's shooting+aftermath. But, I would love to see a mirror of the hospital scene in "Rise", with Kate coming to visit Castle. It would be really cute if they had Kate bring flowers and check her hair in a mirror too before visiting Castle. :D
Anon 9.41 AM, I think that by showing things like a Caskett dance, or Castle doing CPR on Beckett in Linchpin, or the numerous other times people have wanted to see intimate contact between them (like hugs), they would've taken things out of context with them. Given the current state both of them are in it is clear in my opinion that Castle and Beckett aren't really ready for intimate contact. The time will come when they are ready for intimate contact and a relationship, and it won't be far away, but for now they're not quite there.
I don't know if they will put Rick in a life-threatening position, even though it would mirror what happened to Kate. The one thing it would do is force Kate to admit directly how she feels, just like it was with Rick when Kate was shot at Montgomery's funeral. I think that we are more likely to see Kate admit to Rick in the finale after the dust settles from his secret that she loves him too. Maybe in Headhunters we'll get a scene where she gives him a heartfelt apology for leaving him hanging in limbo for so long. We've seen Rick give a heartfelt apology before, back when he was digging around in Kate's mother's murder the first time, and since Andrew Marlowe likes to mirror events between the two perhaps the time has come for Kate to give Rick a heartfelt apology, who knows? I think that Headhunters will be a really interesting episode and could see the tide turning in their relationship for the better.

I came up with a crazy idea for the finale: what if her therapist (Dr. Burke) gets murdered in the precinct and they discover two patient files were stolen, that of Kate and Roy Montgomery ... the team must take on the case to keep Montgomery's secret a secret, but in order to solve the case, Kate has to tell the team what's on her file (i.e. how she lied about the shooting and how she loves Castle and what her therapist knows about her mom's murder). The people that murdered the therapist are connected to her mom's murder. The team must talk to Evelyn Montgomery to find out what secrets he told to the therapist. The bad people behind Kate's mom's murder now know Kate's secret love for Castle, so they have leverage - kidnap Castle and threaten to kill him if she won't leave her mom's case alone. Kate is forced to choose between her past and future with Castle. She of course chooses Castle, allowing Castle to piece together how much she loves him, that she'd choose him over solving her mom's murder. But even though, they still catch the sniper that shot her. Kate and Rick make out now that they both know they love each other. Her sniper is put on trial and season 5 will start with him on trial.
omg!! that would be one hell of an episode, i can see that happening, only for some reason i don't want the doctor to die lol.
but anyway.. that would fit perfectly into the story of castle and beckett. kate will actually show some ture real emotion to castle and it would be the icing on the cake!!!!!
"You're a writer (Castle), not a cop." - first Alexis (Rise) and now Beckett is pointing this out. I would think that Castle's antics with Slaughter trigger some concern in Martha & Alexis as well as the gang at the 12th, and it should also heighten/renew their appreciation for Beckett (almost) always keeping Castle safe. Might be fun to see some scenes illustrating that. I'd love to see Martha/Alexis confronting Castle OR Beckett about their 'working' relationship...
I personally don't mind when Alexis doesn't turn up in an episode. I think it makes the show better. She used to have a purpose in the show, but she's been so annoying lately that I hope they send her off to college far away and we don't have to see her again.
I think Kate's comment about unless you don't get killed first to Rick is going to come back and haunt her later on this episode, she seems scared for him as well as angry which is great to see - I want to see her love for this guy finally coming out not just smiles and loving glances once in a while.
I doubt there will be some big shipper scene in this episode but something will happen that will cause them both to take stock and call a truce for now. Ideally I want Kate to finally figure out what's wrong or at least be well on the way to doing so, I want her to protect Castle and for Rick to realise that the team at the 12th are his true friends and they love and care about him.
I don't expect him to forget about Kate's lie but I do want him to get back together with her and think about his next move - hopefully a full and frank discussion rather than just leaving everything up in the air.
What I don't want is that she takes him back and scolds him like he's some small child because he's been misbehaving, that just sends out the wrong signals to me, she's meant to be in love with a man not a child so don't treat him like some pet or wind up toy. I need to see her relieved and happy he's safe and back with them at the precinct and she's determined to get to the bottom of what is going on with him.
You can tell Slaughter has the hots for Beckett, because he was checking her out. Soon she will realize why Castle is floating away from her.In therapy. Do you think that if Slaughter asks Beckett out that she will go, or will she be loyal to Castle, and put up with his issues with her.
Beckett will not go out with Slaughter. She is so far out of his league that they may as well be on different planets. I think he'll probably make lewd comments about her either to her face or to Castle, and Castle will ditch Slaughter because of it. He has to defend Kate's honor!
Don't worry, he is just joking...there's no way they would do that. Espo and Ryan are like her brothers. And there's absolutely nothing else there. Marlowe isn't stupid, the show would go down the drain and loose fans overnight if that happened.
Jon is just joking around. Plus he follows up with that by talking about espo and Lanie and how things may be going well for them.
This type of story would not even fit becketts background. She isnt someone who just sleeps with men. She loved Royce, and was obviously attracted to him while he was her training officer. Then came will. It's a dumb story, and Jon can be annoying, but it's just some nonsense that he is saying. But I do hope that they get esplanie back together, I liked them together.
Kates lie. Is she realy lieing? She thinks she remembers everything. She may remember the shooting part but not the part where he says those I love yous. Just a though.
How's this for a theory? (I already posted some of this somewhere else on this site.) What if Castle gets hurt somewhere near the end of the Headhunters episode - based on Nathan's comment "parts of his face will be rearranged". Apparently they were filming on the set of Private Practice, so that's a hospital setting. What if at the end of Headhunters, Rick is in the hospital? What would Kate do? Come running to his bedside, of course! I think in the next episode, Undead Again, Rick will still be in hospital (unconscious). I was having trouble figuring out this zombie stuff, 'cause they're calling this a fun, light episode, and I couldn't understand how they could have anything fun and lighthearted while Kate and Rick still haven't "put all their cards on the table", which they keep telling us won't happen till the finale. So, ... what if all the zombie stuff is happening in Rick's dreams, while he's unconscious in the hospital? I read a quote somewhere from Marlowe that they found a "credible" way to incorporate zombies into the storyline. I think the double meaning in the title refers back to the conversation between Rick and his mom after he heard Kate's secret. Remember Rick took Martha to the memorial for the bomb victims and she thought it was morbid. He said, "it's how I'm feeling", and Martha said, "she's not dead", and Rick replied, "she might as well be." Suppose at the end of Undead Again, Rick wakes up in the hospital to hear Kate pouring out her heart and telling him she loves him!! Suddenly she wouldn't be dead to him anymore! This would then lead into this emotional finale they keep promising us, when Rick and Kate finally come clean about everything and work everything out. I also have a theory about "Always", but I'm not going to spill all my beans right now! I will say I'm basing it on comments that Jon Huertas said about us being really surprised at what happens between Rick and Kate. If you want any clues, go back to the episodes "Cuffed" and "Till Death Do Us Part" and see if there aren't some in there!! These are just my theories, how I'd write it if it were up to me! I'm going to be so glad to see these episodes play out, because it's driving me crazy trying to figure it out and I can't seem to get it out of my head. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
I love this story line. I don't feel as if it shows Beckett as being dumb at all. You have to see it from her persepective. When we saw her reveal her secret in the interrogation room, even she was taking back. She has never revealed that to anyone except for her therapist, and here she is dropping it on a suspect. Having Castle get upset and not confronting her is wrong, but he's male. It makes sense that she would not know what is bugging Castle. When she confesses, it is to a suspect. She was using it as an interrogation tactic. When she is on a case, she is on a case. She's not truly thinking of herself and her baggage at the time. The emotional weight of the case does have her thinking about her current situation with Castle. I think given some time, she would have talked to Castle, had it not been for the many interruptions. When the case was through, she was finally ready to tackle her own personal emotional issues. As we saw, Castle was no longer on that page, given her confession he witnessed. I think it's going to take some time with Dr. Burke to talk through that and she will figure out why Castle is so pissed. She will have to deal with consequences and figure out where she stands and where we wants to go from there. Hopefully we will see that in Headhunters.
These two will never sit down an talk. So Ryan and Espo will cuff them together and lock them in a holding cell and not let them out till they say what they have to say to each other.

seems like there is still some tension between castle and beckett but toned down a little so hopefully there is some progress before last 2 episodes

DeleteWell they did an obvious set up shot of Slaughter taking a good long hard look at Kate's ass (and it is a great ass) and I have a feeling that brief shot of Rick punching Slaughter in the promo is because he says something bad about Kate and he defends her honour (he'd better!).
ReplyDeleteI also think that the bloody nose is just the start for Rick, that he initially really enjoys hanging around being all macho with Slaughter and Kate tells him that he's not a cop and he's like brushing her off and he has another fight later where he gets beaten up a little more and that's where Nathan's "face rearranged" comment comes in maybe?
Because sorry I can't see a bloody nose being that big a deal if that's it.
And is it just me or is Kate despite saying to Ryan that she just wants Rick to stay out of her way, showing actual genuine concern? I sure do hope so because if the show is going to convince me they're in love I need to see a bit more of this kind of thing from her as you would do if it was your boyfriend and they were possibly getting hurt or in danger. I'd be worried sick but trying to stay calm at the same time.
Yep I think in the same way, Slaughter will say something crude about Beckett and Rick will be angry, remember that black guy from 3x13, he made some comment too and Rick defended her honor.

I'm sure it's Slaughter Rick punches if you stop the film and look but it's hard because it's so quick. And it's not an accidental punch because Rick is standing right infront of the guy so it's not as if he was aiming at someone else.

ReplyDeleteAt this point, I think Beckett is too worried about Castle to really "snap" at him. She is afraid of losing his love, and is also worried about Castle doing something careless and getting injured.
DeleteBeckett seemed rather vulnerable around Castle in this clip, & I think that she will become even more vulnerable as this episode goes on, culminating in her chat with Dr. Burke.
When Beckett talks to Dr. Burke, my guess is she will finally realize the root cause of Castle's odd behavior.
I am confident that Beckett won't admit she loves Castle in this episode, since I think they are saving that for the finale, but I think that she will show Castle she cares in another way, by coming to his rescue when he gets into deep trouble. :)

Expect that punch seems to me like its during a gangster brawl. Possible slaghter might have said Castle is a whimp who only stick around 12th only to get in her pants... Or said something worse.

I did read somewhere that the hospital bed scene is in undead again. Might end headhunters w/ castle hurt and hospital in the next.... Mirroring Kate.
Or maybe it is for the 4x21 episode but they had to postpone filming that scene because the set was being used by the Private Practice team. This season has lacked with respect to giving us the Caskett scenes fans would want (for example, a Caskett dance at Ryan's wedding, Castle doing CPR on Beckett in Linchpin, etc.), so I doubt we'd get a satisfying Caskett scene is this episode, but if I were to write it, it would be something like this: Castle gets physically injured, Kate comes in to save him and Castle ends up in a hospital bed where Kate gives him a lecture about his idiotic behaviour, yet shows her caring side by staying near his bedside while he sleeps (possible hand holding?) This should give Castle a bit of hint that she may have feelings for him.
DeleteI could definitely see something to that effect happening, since Castle & Beckett's battered relationship will need some kind of band-aid to get them to work together in "Undead Again".
DeleteI am a little doubtful that they will hospitalize Castle with anything more than a few scrapes (and perhaps wounded pride) since it would be a repeat of Beckett's shooting+aftermath.
But, I would love to see a mirror of the hospital scene in "Rise", with Kate coming to visit Castle. It would be really cute if they had Kate bring flowers and check her hair in a mirror too before visiting Castle. :D
Anon 9.41 AM, I think that by showing things like a Caskett dance, or Castle doing CPR on Beckett in Linchpin, or the numerous other times people have wanted to see intimate contact between them (like hugs), they would've taken things out of context with them. Given the current state both of them are in it is clear in my opinion that Castle and Beckett aren't really ready for intimate contact. The time will come when they are ready for intimate contact and a relationship, and it won't be far away, but for now they're not quite there.
DeleteI don't know if they will put Rick in a life-threatening position, even though it would mirror what happened to Kate. The one thing it would do is force Kate to admit directly how she feels, just like it was with Rick when Kate was shot at Montgomery's funeral. I think that we are more likely to see Kate admit to Rick in the finale after the dust settles from his secret that she loves him too. Maybe in Headhunters we'll get a scene where she gives him a heartfelt apology for leaving him hanging in limbo for so long. We've seen Rick give a heartfelt apology before, back when he was digging around in Kate's mother's murder the first time, and since Andrew Marlowe likes to mirror events between the two perhaps the time has come for Kate to give Rick a heartfelt apology, who knows? I think that Headhunters will be a really interesting episode and could see the tide turning in their relationship for the better.

ReplyDeleteI came up with a crazy idea for the finale: what if her therapist (Dr. Burke) gets murdered in the precinct and they discover two patient files were stolen, that of Kate and Roy Montgomery ... the team must take on the case to keep Montgomery's secret a secret, but in order to solve the case, Kate has to tell the team what's on her file (i.e. how she lied about the shooting and how she loves Castle and what her therapist knows about her mom's murder). The people that murdered the therapist are connected to her mom's murder. The team must talk to Evelyn Montgomery to find out what secrets he told to the therapist. The bad people behind Kate's mom's murder now know Kate's secret love for Castle, so they have leverage - kidnap Castle and threaten to kill him if she won't leave her mom's case alone. Kate is forced to choose between her past and future with Castle. She of course chooses Castle, allowing Castle to piece together how much she loves him, that she'd choose him over solving her mom's murder. But even though, they still catch the sniper that shot her. Kate and Rick make out now that they both know they love each other. Her sniper is put on trial and season 5 will start with him on trial.

"You're a writer (Castle), not a cop." - first Alexis (Rise) and now Beckett is pointing this out. I would think that Castle's antics with Slaughter trigger some concern in Martha & Alexis as well as the gang at the 12th, and it should also heighten/renew their appreciation for Beckett (almost) always keeping Castle safe. Might be fun to see some scenes illustrating that. I'd love to see Martha/Alexis confronting Castle OR Beckett about their 'working' relationship...

I personally don't mind when Alexis doesn't turn up in an episode. I think it makes the show better. She used to have a purpose in the show, but she's been so annoying lately that I hope they send her off to college far away and we don't have to see her again.

ReplyDeleteI doubt there will be some big shipper scene in this episode but something will happen that will cause them both to take stock and call a truce for now. Ideally I want Kate to finally figure out what's wrong or at least be well on the way to doing so, I want her to protect Castle and for Rick to realise that the team at the 12th are his true friends and they love and care about him.
I don't expect him to forget about Kate's lie but I do want him to get back together with her and think about his next move - hopefully a full and frank discussion rather than just leaving everything up in the air.
What I don't want is that she takes him back and scolds him like he's some small child because he's been misbehaving, that just sends out the wrong signals to me, she's meant to be in love with a man not a child so don't treat him like some pet or wind up toy. I need to see her relieved and happy he's safe and back with them at the precinct and she's determined to get to the bottom of what is going on with him.
You can tell Slaughter has the hots for Beckett, because he was checking her out. Soon she will realize why Castle is floating away from her.In therapy. Do you think that if Slaughter asks Beckett out that she will go, or will she be loyal to Castle, and put up with his issues with her.

This type of story would not even fit becketts background. She isnt someone who just sleeps with men. She loved Royce, and was obviously attracted to him while he was her training officer. Then came will. It's a dumb story, and Jon can be annoying, but it's just some nonsense that he is saying. But I do hope that they get esplanie back together, I liked them together.

ReplyDeleteHow's this for a theory? (I already posted some of this somewhere else on this site.) What if Castle gets hurt somewhere near the end of the Headhunters episode - based on Nathan's comment "parts of his face will be rearranged". Apparently they were filming on the set of Private Practice, so that's a hospital setting. What if at the end of Headhunters, Rick is in the hospital? What would Kate do? Come running to his bedside, of course! I think in the next episode, Undead Again, Rick will still be in hospital (unconscious). I was having trouble figuring out this zombie stuff, 'cause they're calling this a fun, light episode, and I couldn't understand how they could have anything fun and lighthearted while Kate and Rick still haven't "put all their cards on the table", which they keep telling us won't happen till the finale. So, ... what if all the zombie stuff is happening in Rick's dreams, while he's unconscious in the hospital? I read a quote somewhere from Marlowe that they found a "credible" way to incorporate zombies into the storyline. I think the double meaning in the title refers back to the conversation between Rick and his mom after he heard Kate's secret. Remember Rick took Martha to the memorial for the bomb victims and she thought it was morbid. He said, "it's how I'm feeling", and Martha said, "she's not dead", and Rick replied, "she might as well be." Suppose at the end of Undead Again, Rick wakes up in the hospital to hear Kate pouring out her heart and telling him she loves him!! Suddenly she wouldn't be dead to him anymore! This would then lead into this emotional finale they keep promising us, when Rick and Kate finally come clean about everything and work everything out. I also have a theory about "Always", but I'm not going to spill all my beans right now! I will say I'm basing it on comments that Jon Huertas said about us being really surprised at what happens between Rick and Kate. If you want any clues, go back to the episodes "Cuffed" and "Till Death Do Us Part" and see if there aren't some in there!! These are just my theories, how I'd write it if it were up to me! I'm going to be so glad to see these episodes play out, because it's driving me crazy trying to figure it out and I can't seem to get it out of my head. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love this story line. I don't feel as if it shows Beckett as being dumb at all. You have to see it from her persepective. When we saw her reveal her secret in the interrogation room, even she was taking back. She has never revealed that to anyone except for her therapist, and here she is dropping it on a suspect. Having Castle get upset and not confronting her is wrong, but he's male. It makes sense that she would not know what is bugging Castle. When she confesses, it is to a suspect. She was using it as an interrogation tactic. When she is on a case, she is on a case. She's not truly thinking of herself and her baggage at the time. The emotional weight of the case does have her thinking about her current situation with Castle. I think given some time, she would have talked to Castle, had it not been for the many interruptions. When the case was through, she was finally ready to tackle her own personal emotional issues. As we saw, Castle was no longer on that page, given her confession he witnessed. I think it's going to take some time with Dr. Burke to talk through that and she will figure out why Castle is so pissed. She will have to deal with consequences and figure out where she stands and where we wants to go from there. Hopefully we will see that in Headhunters.
