So can't wait!!!! I love the intensity and drama :)
ReplyDeletePicture number 3. LOL. Castle and fists...it is somekind of fighting stance to me. Maybe Mal from Firefly is back for a while as Adam Baldwin is. I loved John Casey from Chuck, so I really hope Adam Baldwin will be like that.
ReplyDeleteThat curly guy in interrogation room? Is not it T.J.Thyne from Bones? Maybe I overlooked that.
Is it me or is Kate smiling on the last picture?? :D
ReplyDeleteI SAW IT TOOO!!! Hahaha... That gives me hope XD They look like they're about to laugh...
DeleteI noticed that too which makes feel a lot better after watching the promo where she looks so sad. I just hope that they will be on good terms at the end of the episode. I can't stand another episode with castle and beckett apart. The limey was more than enough.
DeleteNope and her arms are folded. Another bad conversation.
DeleteThat doesnt mean it has to be bad. (It could be, but she stands like that a lot anyway) You don't know for sure do you... well, you can't be absolutely positive, pessimist.
Deletestill there is a hint of a smile, maybe it's from a scene at the very end of the episode.
DeleteIt doesn't matter is it's a smile or not, they're very close to each other. Castle wouldn't bend down close to her like that if he's on a mission to pull away, he'd be trying his best to quickly take a few steps away from her. So my guess is that they're theorizing about something, he's explaining something and their thoughts go in sync, she smiles about it, it gives her hope that he's still the same guy she gets high with when it comes to murder cases.
Delete^^I like this Anon 6.34 <3<3<3
Delete"Kate, should I fill in this marriage license application, or would you like to?"
Delete"You filled in plenty before, go ahead"
"Ouch"
Briliant!!!! Anon @7.12 I love it.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else think Espo looked like he was spying on Castle a little? I hope so - lord knows we need some levity.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually more worried about the boys than i am with Beckett, i mean, she might be hurting but wont necessarily act on it... Now Espo and Ryan seeing their Papa run along with other detective? I expect trouble! XD
Delete(sorry about my english)
Anon 9.36 PM, no need to apologize about your English, it's perfectly fine!
DeleteYou're right about how Kevin Ryan and Javier Esposito might react to this change in Rick. There was an article recently asking Seamus Dever (aka Kevin Ryan) about how the boys might react to this "change" in Rick, although he didn't really give anything away. Esposito definitely knows how Kate feels about Rick. Remember that it was him that told her back in the season finale of Season 2 that Rick wasn't going to hang around while watching her in a relationship with Demming, leading to her breaking up with Demming, but missing out on Rick at that point because he had given up on her and reconnected with Gina.
I think it would be great if Kevin Ryan actually stood up to the plate and put Rick straight. It looks like this episode will retain quite a bit of humour despite the dark overtones with Rick still rebounding from the revelation of Kate's secret. I'm not prepared like some people are to write off this episode before it airs. I'm going to wait until it has aired before passing judgement.
I'm going to say something, your not going to like it because i don't like saying it. Nathan's looking old and tired, he's in his 40s so I've forgiven the weight that he's been sporting this season. He's just not looking like he's the same age as Micheal C Hall, Alan Tudyk, and Jeremy Renner.
ReplyDeleteI've been a fan since he was on 'Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place, so I'm not saying this as a slight to nathan or out of some misguided desire for people on television to look younger. It's just if he's supposed to be romancing Kate he shouldn't look so old and tired.
Just Saying,
Ha ha you may have just painted a target on your head by bringing up Nathan's weight again (plus him looking tired)!
DeletePersonally, I don't care what he looks like. We shouldn't be judging people by what they look like anyway. It's appropriate for this show then that the good old saying: "Don't judge a book by it's cover" fits.
I think we should leave people like Nathan be in regards to their appearance. They do work extraordinarily long hours to give us this show we love (and sometimes hate).
Oh frak! And here I wanted to comment that he's looking fine on this promo pics..
DeleteFans who met him on set say he's looking better lately, 4 months of hiatus/rest and i bet he'll look better in s5. i hope so at least.
DeletePlease don't forget that at this stage his hero is hurt and may be can't sleep, eat, drink a lot, suppose that this's reason
DeleteYeah, well, fans who meet him on set ALWAYS say he's looking much better than on TV. And on their pics he does look much better usually. And in talk shows. So I don't know what to think anymore.
DeleteIt's really bizarre but there have been shots of him taken on shows and elsewhere and he looks great and yet at times on Castle he looks really tired and bigger etc so what gives? Is it the wardrobe guy? The lighting?
DeleteEither way I think he's adorable and I've got no problem with his looks - he's Nathan Fillion and was Cap Mal Reynolds for God's sake!
And see that Kate and Rick seem more together in one of those shots, they seem both to be smiling at each other I think - unless this was a behind the scenes shot and not an actual clip - they have done that before - put photos up of a character really smiling or frowning and it's just them out of character.
Anon 1.26AM I don't think it matters if he looks older, although I see what you're saying a lot of people have been saying that this season.
DeleteKate is in love with the whole man however, not just his physical attributes. If it was just that she would have gone off with Demming or Josh. I would be pretty annoyed if I thought Kate was so superficial to stop loving him because he had put on a few pounds or looked tired and he is meant to be older than her in the show by 7-10 years (I don't know exactly the gap).
I fell in love with Castle's charm, sense of humor, kindness, spirit of adventure and yes rugged good looks and nothing has changed for me, he's still great.
I'm sick of seeing impossibly beautiful people on American TV in all these shows, perfect teeth, hair, clothing, really thin and it doesn't feel real to me. Nathan seems real and yes I still think he's good looking but if he does look tired some days I'm not surprised they work them into the ground.
I agree. He's only 41 years old and definitely needs to lose at least about 20 lbs. He's signed on to play Hermes in a movie and having him at this weight would be pathethic. He's got the money to hire a trainer and food expert to help him. He just needs to get off his butt, stop playing computer games and commit himself to losing weight. Alec Baldwin lost 30 lbs in 4 months, so Nathan could do it IF he commits himself. If not, then his acting gigs are going to dry up. Sheer laziness on his part.
DeleteI agree big time with the first reply
DeleteHey Anon 01:28, don't get me wrong, I'm all for Nathan getting in shape and stuff, but your post rubs me the wrong way. Unless you know him personally you can't know is it "sheer laziness" or not. Frankly I'm always baffled when people think they know a particular celeb just because they watched a couple of interviews or follow them on Twitter. Do you really think that what Nathan or anyone writes on Twitter is everything there is to know about him? Like if he writes something about video games, but nothing about working out or, I don't know, may be being sick, or depressed, or under treatment, or in pain, or sitting at a friend's deathbed (all thought up by me of course), then it means that all he's doing is "sitting on his butt playing computer games"?
DeleteSo what is that - you know him personally and can confirm his "lazyassness" and charmed Hollywood life, absent of problems, or are you just projecting and assuming?
Again, I'm totally cheering for NF to get in shape, I just prefer people kept a little more respect and healthy objectivity, doing it. And a little less arrogance.
Yeah, 10:30 PM, I was kinda thrown by that post. I get when people want him to get fit and say that it lessens their enjoyment of the show. I even get when they're being rude and judgemental, because let's face it celebrities are always judged and talked about like some kind of robots or animals, they are used to it. But I agree, you are assuming a great deal here, 01:28 PM. Seems like you just don't like Nathan Fillion and go around smack talking and assuming all you want. Or perhaps you are one of those delusional people who think they KNOW folks on the silver screen.
DeleteYeah ^^ i was just about to say he is looking so much better!! Nathan looks great in these pics guys!
ReplyDeleteYes i do think that there is a hint of a smile on their faces in the last pic, maybe on of them says a little joke or something and by the looks of things i was guessing that the thing he is signing is some sort of a swapping parters document and thats why in another pic Beckett looks SOOOO sad holding the papers and the pen... ohhh this is so heart breaking! :'(
I hope that castle gets injured or something and then Beckett goes and saves him bringing them slightly back on better terms...idk its driving me crazy i just cant wait for Always. Oh and they start filming ALWAYS today!! the 5th :)
-Carina
I just noticed - the authors writing The headhunters are the same that created To love and die in LA from season 3. I don't know whether this is a coincidence but could it be something unexpected...
ReplyDeleteI choose to believe ;)
He wrote kill shot too, where castle says always...
Delete2 of my favorite episodes so thanks for your uplifting news.
DeleteI'm so tired of being depressing over the way this show is going. I hate when writers make our beloved characters act so, well, out of character.
Anon 1.03 PM, as it stands up until now it would be out of character for Castle and Beckett to talk openly about how they really feel (their characters have been built around struggling to find the courage to speak to each other about how they really feel). So does that mean you'll hate it when they do step out of character and start communicating? Don't worry, I'm being facetious!
DeleteCastle has always been kind and considerate. I defy you to name an episode when he wasn't.
DeleteNow he isn't.
Beckett has always been smart, savvy & streetwise. I defy you to name an episode when she wasn't.
Now she isn't.
Both are acting way out of character and it's very painful to watch.
It's not them not getting together that's pissing everybody off. It's them acting like people we don't know.
THAT'S the problem.
Guys, there's a movie opening in London this weekend called "Headhunters". Check out the synopsis, "The plot centres on Roger Brown, a corporate headhunter and world-class art thief.
ReplyDeleteHis latest target is the impeccably debonair Clas Greve, but this time his watertight scheme springs a leak. Upon entering Greve's apartment to get hold of one of the most sought-after paintings in the world, Brown comes across something unexpected and devastating. In a swift role reversal, the hunter becomes the hunted and a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse ensues". That just triggered a thought of why the shot of C & B from Eye of the Beholder in the promo... maybe this case has a throwback to that one. I don't see anything in the pictures, though, so maybe just a coincidence.
The title is a bit of a mystery that I've not seen anyone try to pick apart.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it called Headhunters????
Typically headhunters are people employed to find folks with special skills to fill job openings. Usually executives.
Or they are little South American people that shrink heads as trophies.
Neither has anything to do with Latin gangs and I'm damned if I can figure a connection to boy-girl relationships.
So what's the significance of the title????
Sounds like Coonan could have been a sort of headhunter, then, finding Johnny Vong with his special skills/connections to aide in his drug trafficking to Latin gangs... Maybe there's a connection there? Or maybe it references Slaughter & his unit/methods? Will be fun to see...
Deletethe last photo gives me hope... (: i'm so out of my mind right now, i mean everything that happened. first "47 seconds" - ok I get it he's mad, but then "the limey" just killed me..i don't know if i'm mentally ready for the next episodes..i'll watch them though..just don't know when
ReplyDeleteyeah..
I love Castle <3 ! <33
Theories about what's going to happen next in the Rick/Kate story? Here's mine. If you watched the cast on the PaleyFest panel in March, you may remember that they asked Nathan if Rick would be changed by working with Det. Slaughter, and his answer was "I think it's safe to say parts of my face will be rearranged!" I figure that Rick's going to get hurt, likely in a confrontation with some gang members, and end up in the hospital. I've read that there have been tweets about Castle filming on the set of Private Practice (hospital setting). My guess is that when Kate hears about it, she goes running to his bedside. This will serve at least 2 purposes. 1 - it will slow Rick down so that he doesn't completely derail his life, and 2 - it will be the catalyst that Kate needs to open her mouth and say what she feels. (Aren't we all just dying to hear her say those words "I love you Rick"??) I have no theories about the significance of the Headhunters title, but as for the next one, Undead Again, here goes. Remember in the 47 Seconds episode when Rick took his mom to the memorial site for the bombing victims and she thought it was kind of morbid, he said, "It's how I'm feeling", and she said, "Richard, she's not dead", and his reply was "Well, she might as well be". Imagine Rick waking up in the hospital at the end of Undead Again to hear Kate say she loves him. Suddenly, she would no longer be dead to him, she'd be alive again! That's my 2 cents worth! Can anyone tell I've been spending entirely too much time thinking about this? Can't wait to see if I'm even close to right!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent theory. I do hope you are correct!
DeleteI think that's a wonderful theory! Following on from that I wonder if by the end of Undead Again Kate discovers Rick's murder board at completely the wrong moment for them (I wonder what that could be lol). She runs off unable to handle this revelation that he has been digging around in her mother's murder behind her back again, WITHOUT the knowledge that he was also being tasked with steering her away for her own safety by Mr Smith, just like Rick went AWOL after discovering her secret, but wasn't aware that she felt the same about him. In the finale she maybe visits her father at the same cafe that was used in Season 2's Sucker Punch episode. She talks to him about finally feeling that she was in the right space to dive in with Rick only to discover that he's being working on her mother's case behind her back and how can she trust him etc, etc. At this point Jim tells her about how he visited Rick once before she was shot and that he asked him to keep her safe when he said "don't let her throw her life away". This new revelation reinvigorates her. She either goes back to his loft or meets with him in the Precinct and tells him that she understands why he did what he did. She forgives him for it and they maybe kiss, who knows? Once all that is cleared, Mr Smith calls Rick again and tells him that the chess pieces are in place and the time has come to strike against the Dragon.
DeleteHow do you guys like that?
I like it a lot better than the stuff they showed this season!
