Just as long as it is obvious to us that it is calculated because she knows she loves him, I am ok with it. He doesn't have to know, but we do. If she is doing it because she is still afraid or they put a new obstacle up then forget it. I love Castle, but I don't want to be stalled in limbo forever. They can move slowly as long as we know they love each other. If she says they can't be together til her mom's murderer is caught then I understand. She doesn't want to hurt him more if something does happen to her. I just want forward movement (even slowly) and not backwards.

for one to make calculated decisions about something, she must first know all the facts...this scoop tells me that kate will probably hear what castle said about how he loves her but she will LIE about it...acting like she doesn't hear it...

Well as long as she has admitted to herself she loves him and dumps Josh, I'm happy. But at the same time if she is keeping him at distance he may loose interest and flirt around. The writers of this show seem to love throwing in other love interest for them even when it's silly at this stage. I really hope that doesn't happen. They should be aware of their feeling for each other and decide to wait till the moment is right. They do not need to see other people in the meantime. There should be some commitment and understanding between them.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting but I hope her pulling back doesn't end up in her pushing him away. I hope he figures why she is doing it and respects and gives her time but doesn't give up. Castle can be so childish, like what he did by asking Gina at the end of season 2 just because Beckett had demming. I hope that doesn't repeat here. That storyline is just old and done.
ReplyDeleteI really hope Castle sees through her lies and walls and calls her on it, just like he did in the finale in her apartment. Beckett needs to be jolted a little and I love watching Castle get all serious and in her face. I think Beckett needs that to take the jump.
ReplyDeleteI hope Beckett sadmits she is in love with him and maybe sort of tells him but at the same time says she is not ready for a relationship. At least that way Castle would know that his feelings for her are reciprocated. And that may stop him from wanting to date other women, because I dont like the idea of either of them getting into other relationships, as that just cheapens their relationship.
Alright, That’s Comforting at least we’re getting more of the picture of how this season will be progressing. That said I feel like recapping their relationship so far simply as to assuage those rabid castle fans who fail to realize that they don’t have to get together this season but absolutely must next season.

Castle gets closer to Beckett becoming partners instead of muse and writer. Castle also finds out that his feeling are deeper than he realized and that he's in love with her.

I agree with anon 9.46, I want Castle to figure out that Beckett loves him and she is just scared. Maybe he will be protective and show her she can really open her heart to him and trust him with her heart.
ReplyDeleteIt's stana saying Kate loves Rick not the producers or the writers, not cool and fair enough she may know something doesnt mean Becketts admitted to it that's just one Opinion. It's like she's shooting herself in the foot.

and she'll probably tell him the opposite .. lie to him to keep him safe... push him away from her.
until he finds out what Alexis told her somehow . and he"ll come back bothering her at work .

After Montgomery's Betrayal, Beckett is amazingly cautious around Castle and every one for that matter. She knows how Castle feels and takes control of their relationship keeping him at a distance until she is ready to trust him with her heart.
End Result (again just a Guess)
Castle finds out that Beckett loves him and calls her on it.

ReplyDeleteHhhmmm I dont know if I should be excited or not. Not too happy about the fact that she will lie which means either she pretends she didnt hear the I love you or worst case scenario she tells him she doesnt want him around anymore, which is going to totally suck.
ReplyDeleteBut hopefully with this we will get some insight into her real feelings, as Stana said she does love him she just wont admit it. So maybe in her therapy sessions she spills everything so at least we as viewers will know.
But like some other comments, I too am scared that if she doesnt show Castle any sign or glimmer of hope for them, he may move on, and I really dont want that.
Just hope the writers understand that fans are really sick of them being in other relationships when they so clearly want each other. I can understand the need to wait a while but it becomes stupid after a while. 3 seasons of them hiding and substituting with other relationships is enough. They dont need to get together this season , although i wish they would but they need to acknowledge that those feelings exist.
Ok I thought they were supposed to get closer this season. Andrew Marlowe said they will be entering new territory. So if they are apart at the beginning (how many episodes is this for), how exactly does that mean growing their relationship???

ReplyDeleteAssuming that the next level means "getting closer" it's just an opinion of some fans.
AM on the contrary already gave plenty of hints indicating that this next level means a more mature relationship where for the good sake of others Castle and Beckett will give up on their wishes and keep each other at distance not to hurt themselves or others.
This is what S4 will all be about.
As long it is believable and not repetitive, I'm in!
I just hope the show is not losing its light-heartedness, because that's what I enkoy the most.
They both need weekend at Hamptons. Some decision making, some flirting (Beckett read this), some kissing (that is for Rick), some confessing to each other about feelings. And showing some LOVE to each other. If someone of them want to pull back, also an option...but they will know, that they on the same level.
ReplyDeleteAt anonymous 10:08, I agree with your idea about maybe Alexis telling Beckett to stay away from her dad. Cause didn't they say that Alexis would be very "strict" with her dad following Beckett around? And that she may even argue to some degree with Beckett herself? What if Alexis confronts Beckett about her dad following her around, and that he may end up hurt, but Beckett says something along the lines of, "I know how you feel if something were to happen to your dad, I've been there" (talking about her mom but also the possibility of losing the man she loves) but Alexis doesn't believe her, at first. And maybe Alexis goes to the precinct and talks to Beckett in the break room and Castle isn't around but when Alexis leaves after Beckett told her to keep that between the two of them until they figured out a "solution", he comes in not knowing why Alexis was even there, and Beckett lies to him about what she and Alexis "talked" about, to hide the fact that she pretty much admitted to Alexis that she is in love with Castle but doesn't want Castle to know. I don't know it's just an idea, but I cannot wait for this season!! :) All I'm saying is they better get together by the end of this season or look out!!!!

There is supposed to be a shocking ending to the priemere. Could it be that they get together? A fan sure can hope and from the last two spoilers (this one and the one from TV Addict), my hopes are soaring! I would be happy with just Beckett admitting that she loves Castle to someone other than herself :)!

ReplyDelete@Anon 12:55- I really, really don't think they will get together at the end of the premiere. I think the shocking ending will have something to do with the envelope, although I REALLY don't want Castle to hide it from Beckett. That will just make things so much harder and make her trust him less..
