"Kick the Ballistics" -- While investigating the mysterious shooting death of a young woman, Castle and Beckett face a cop's worst nightmare when they discover that the gun used in the killing is Det. Ryan's old service weapon - the one that was stolen by the serial killer, 3XK. Now with the clock ticking, the team must work to solve the murder, track down 3XK and retrieve Ryan's gun before the killer strikes again, on "Castle," MONDAY, OCTOBER 10.

Love the new season, and this episode is gonna rock (hopefully). That said, did anyone else notice the fact that Nathan is looking a little big. I noticed it in the Head Case Stills, I remember him being thinner a few seasons ago, he's starting to look out of place standing next to Seamus, Stana, And Jon. (just my opinion tho)
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really hope he doesn't lose any weight, and that Stana even gains a bit. God forbid someone shouldn't starve themselves to look 10lbs thinner for the camera.
ReplyDeleteThe man is gorgeous as he is - he's forty and a big guy - he looks just as he should and not some overly perfect 'tv' guy. Hope he doesn't change a thing.

ReplyDeleteNathan has put on quite a bit of weight, and it makes him look considerably older. Some scenes in "Knockout" showed weight distortng his face. Also, running around with his shirt untucked and obviously out of shape in "To Love and Die in LA" made him look less than the handsome leading man.
ReplyDeleteThe swing-set scene and book sighing scene also revealed his blown up features. His looking up from the book signing chair revealed a very round, pumpkinesque face.
I love the guy. The show is built around two very lovely people who right now need to dig in on their weight issues.
Nathan, drop about thirty pounds in your gut, butt, chest and adorable face. That said I still think he is a nice looking, kind man, and he heads a great show, but creeping weight takes away from his handsome face. He becomes jowly and squinty- eyed and massive. With a thinner face his eyes are impossible to deny. Just compare his dashing after Kate when returning to work with her earlier and dashing to the elevator after realizing that she would break him out of jail. Baby got a big butt.
Drop the weight now, Nathan, and give Stana about ten pounds.. or more of it. Her anorexic look robs her of her beauty, also. And I am the one who said in 09 that each lead was more than just another pretty face.
But I have come to enjoy those beautiful dear faces, and I worry for both of you and want you to take care of your health. This is mama speaking and I know the sorrows of weight gain or great loss.

ReplyDeleteOk I love stana and Nathan but they need to get fit. It's not about looking good it's about being healthy, and now neither look healthy...Nathan needs to drop some weight and stana needs to put some on...
ReplyDeleteStana is super tall, that's why she looks very skinny. She does look healthy, though, in my opinion. But Nathan HAS gotten a bit bigger. Someone should tell him to loose weight. I love him and everything, but he looks older than he actually is and now he has like... 3 chins... =(

ReplyDeletebut if I had to change something about them I would want Nathan to just loose a tiny bit of weight and Stana should really gain a little but other than that they are so perfect!!!
I know this is totally off topic, but do any of you know how much they get paid per episode? or even per year?
ReplyDeleteI personally don't think Stana is too skinny. She could gain some weight and still look just as amazing, but I think she's perfect the way she is :-)
ReplyDeleteNow Nathan on the other hand could stand to lose a few. He still looks good in his usual suit attire.. but his other clothes.. well.. not so much :-/ He obviously has money.. He should just hire a personal trainer for a couple of months and tweak his diet a bit. No biggie.. But he can't lose too much. He's gotta stay broad :-) Probably my favorite feature of his..
I notice that Nathan has been fatter, and he is really handsome, but his eyes are beautiful, and if he were thinner his eyes will shine more.
ReplyDeleteAnd another reason that I think it will be okay it's because if in this season is supposed that they will be together I think that it looks better if he is a bit thinner because if he is thinner maybe he has more tact in his thinner hands than in his fatter hands, in romantics scenes.
And of course I think he is much more sexy, I don't mean thin like Stana, but thinner that their physical and so attractive qualities can shine.
I'm sorry if I haven't expressed well what I want to say and I have repeat to much the same words; but I'm spanish and I'm learning.

I won't be too hard. I mean it has been 4 - 5 years since the tv show began production and we all age, but to see his face change from season 3 to 4 is too much. Nathan needs to drop some weight (for health reasons, too). He looked so good seasons 1 - 3. He looked especially good in season 1. Stana, on the other hand, could use about 5 more pounds.
