Question: Haven’t really heard much about Beckett’s boyfriend Josh (Victor Webster) on Castle. I know he’s in the premiere but other than that, nada. What’s going on there? —Ivy

If we did actually see the break up scene.. I want it to go like this:
ReplyDeleteJosh wants to go to Haiti, or wherever for another Doctors without Borders mission. Kate secretly doesn't want him to, but allows it anyway.
Later, she has some moment with Castle that causes her to have an epiphany. She finally realizes that Castle will always be the one there for her. The night before DMB leaves, she decides to give him an ultimatum, saying that it's her or Haiti (wherever). (Now, in her mind, she's thinking Castle or Josh, depending on his decision.)
When Josh realizes that this wouldn't work because he wants to go save the world, he leaves. Kate acts all sad in front of him, but when he closes the door and turns around, she's going to have the hugest smirk on her face. Episode end. Bam said the lady.

I've got a hunch that the park scene where Beckett and Castle are on the swings is when they have their first heart-to-heart and she tells him that she and Josh broke up.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it will probably be because of the fight with Castle or at least that is what she will use as an excuse.
ReplyDeleteAs for the park scene when they are on the swings, she is holding the new Nikki Heat book. Maybe they are talking about the dedication?
I hope Josh is gone in the premier...it's time for him to get lost.
ReplyDeletei agree with Anonymous 8:52!! they looked like they were having a deep, meaningful conversation most probably about the break up and HOPEFULLY about where that leaves them as 'friends/couple'!!! and if DMB does leave i reckon the reason will be because of either another Doctors without Borders mission during Kate's recovery that just makes her really upset (he is never there for her) while Castle is with her all the time, or the fact that Josh started a punch-up and blamed Castle for her being shot.
ReplyDeleteAlso in the park scene Beckett is holding the new Nikki Heat book so maybe they talk about the book, the break up and then the fact that Castle has one book left to write (remember his contract was for 3 more books) and if he will still stay and where their 'relationship' goes when hes finished the last book :'(

No, no thats not it!!!!! DMV and Castle fight. Time jump and Becket is healing she finds out from someone that Josh blamed Castle for her getting shot and they got into a fist fight. She is mortified meets with DMV and breaks it off.Telling him how Castle is always there for her no matter what,unlike him.Da da da da,da da da da, hey hey hey good bye!

Yeah I'm tired of Josh interrupting castle and Beckett moments. He really needs to go. I'm sure once he is gone Beckett will allow herself to get closer to castle.
