When are we going to see the Triple Killer again on Castle? — Ellie
ADAM: He most likely won't appear until the latter part of the season, but his presence may be felt sooner. "There are ways to deal with the storytelling where you're not necessarily confronting the character head-on," creator Andrew W. Marlowe tells us. "It's possible his character ends up being a puppetmaster." In whatever form he takes, look for 3XK's continued freedom to haunt Castle. "Castle feels a responsibility that this guy is out there," Marlowe says. "If he'd just been a little bit smarter ... then whatever might happen in the future wouldn't have happened. Castle is going to feel that burden."

Mega Buzz: Castle vs. Beckett?
When are we going to get some more Castle-Beckett goodness on Castle? — Samantha
ADAM: After the winter break, you're definitely going to see the duo go at it — just not in the way you might want. When one of Castle's old friends from prep school is suspected in his wife's murder, Castle and Beckett's friendly partnership is put to the test. "Beckett is convinced that Castle's friend is guilty of this crime, and Castle, who's known this guy and really looked up to him, can't conceive that he was the murderer," creator Andrew W. Marlowe tells us. "We uncover some secrets about the guy's past and challenge Castle's point of view, but you get to see Beckett and Castle on completely opposite sides of an investigation."

Why Is Castle's Leading Lady Calling Gilles Marini's Guest Spot "a Waste?"
"Big and magical"—and possibly life-threatening.
That's how Brothers & Sisters star Gilles Marini describes his upcoming turn on ABC's Castle. So if the ridonkulously hot Frenchman went all out for the role, why is Castle's leading lady Stana Katic telling us she's disappointed?
'Cause the famously "big and magical" (sorry, couldn't resist!) Sex and the City star had the nerve to perform his entire Castle role fully clothed.

Mega Buzz: Castle Mommy Issues
Is Castle going to revisit the story of Beckett's mother's murder this season? — Houston
ADAM: That's the plan for one of the show's January episodes, and executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe expects it to be a blockbuster. "There will be some closure; we'll have some understanding as to exactly why Joanna Beckett was killed," Marlowe teases. "The audience will find out how high the conspiracy goes and the elements that we're dealing with. I think it can provide us with an interesting insight into [future] storytelling."

Jim Halterman Interviews the Cast of "Castle"
While the crime-solving duo of Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) continue to play the will they/won't they game on ABC's "Castle," the murders themselves are also a huge draw for viewers since the unusual crimes routinely have multiple twists and turns before they're solved. Tonight's episode, for example, pays homage to "The X-Files" with a case involving a possible alien abduction that leads to murder. Singer/actor Lyle Lovett guests as a mysterious government agent while Lance Henrickson (who starred in "X-Files" creator Chris Carter's series "Millenium") appears, naturally, as an expert on alien abductions.
Our Jim Halterman spent some time on the set of "Castle" last month to chat about what else is store on the romantic side of things (hint - one couple will be hitting the sheets and it is not our leads) as well as how the writers carefully dole out the danger for our regulars including Castle, who technically is not a trained police officer.

TV Guide - Is Castle's Latest Case Out of This World?
For once, Richard Castle might not be the nerdiest person at a crime scene.
On Monday's Castle, Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) investigate a murder that could be out of this world. "We have a couple [crew members] on the show ... who are from The X-Files, and so in a lot of ways this was our chance to do our Castle version of an X-Files episode," creator-executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe tells TVGuide.com.

Mega Buzz: Castle Meets the Parents?
What happened to Alexis' boyfriend again on Castle? — Mandy
ADAM: While he hasn't appeared lately, he's still very much in the mix. In fact, it sounds like Alexis and Ashley are getting serious. "In an upcoming episode, Castle has to meet the parents, which is kind of fun," creator and executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe tells us. "He has to sit down and break bread with Ashley's parents, so we'll see how that goes. My prediction? Awkward, party of five.

Mega Buzz: Castle Casting News
I could really use a couple of Castle nuggets. — Mark
ADAM: Then a couple you shall have. First, remember the role I teased about an alien abduction support group leader? The show has cheekily cast Millennium star Lance Henriksen to play the character. And second, Terri Miller, who penned the Season 2 Halloween episode that was rife with Firefly references, will also take on the upcoming episode that features Brothers & Sisters' Gilles Marini as a magician.
